I’m Jody and I am morbidly obese. I have been overweight most of my life and have been a binge eater pretty much since middle school. I am writing this quick “about me” at the beginning of my journey but I hope to literally and figuratively rewrite my story in 90 days. Perhaps the first sentence will start with, My name is Jody and before losing 100 pounds I was morbidly obese most of my life. That sounds like a great beginning to a new story.
Until then, right now I weigh 325.8 pounds. I am 36 and 5’6. I have failed about every day, every week and every year for the last 15 plus years in losing weight. I just can’t seem to get it together. So once again I have a plan. Perhaps a bigger plan than I have ever had in the past.
I joined Life Time Fitness a couple of months ago and Aug. 9th I signed up for their 90 day weight loss challenge. The prize: 10K and more importantly substantial weight loss.
So here is my plan:
I signed up with a Life Time Fitness Nutritionist. He is going to tell me exactly what food to eat and what supplements to take.
I signed up for the T.E.A.M Weight Loss class Monday, Wednesday and Friday. And Group Weight Loss Class on Tuesday.
I was also instructed to make sure that I accomplish 14,000 steps a day as well as daily yoga class.
So that’s my “how,” you know my “what”- lose 90-100 pounds in 90 days and I am hoping by writing this blog I can figure out my “why”.
